Phuket province of Thailand

Phuket is an island and a province of Thailand, which is only accessible via a bridge from Phang Nga, or via the international airport of Phuket.
Due to the high flow of tourists Phuket has become a very rich province of Thailand. The tourists stay almost entirely on the west coast of the island, because there are the most beautiful beaches.
The east of the island is still used for agriculture. First and foremost, coconut palms and rubber trees are grown and harvested.


Places of interest:

On the emblem or the seal of Phuket the two female heroes of the province are shown, Thao Thep Kasattri and Thao Sri Sunthon.
