Phatthalung province of Thailand

Phatthalung is in the midst of the Malay peninsula and has no direct access to the Andaman Sea or the Gulf of Thailand.
Because many rivers flow through Phatthalung, this region has much agriculture. First and foremost rice, fruits, but also rubber trees, coconut and oil palms.

Made in Phatthalung region are the famous Thai shadow puppets, the Talung Nang .

It is a fact that over 10 % are Muslim of the population in Phatthalung, so you can visit many beautiful mosques, beside the thousand year old temples.
