Chumphon province of Thailand

The province of Chumphon is crossed by many rivers, so it is a very rich region because of more than half of the whole country is used as agricultural land. Many kinds of fruits, coffee and palm oil is produced.

Chumphon is quite undeveloped in tourism, even though there are kilometers long white sand beaches.


Places of interest:

The emblem or seal of Chumphon shows an angel who blesses the people of Chumphon. Right and left are fig trees, which symbolizes the fruit cultivation of the province.
